My name is Sofiia, and I’m an MA student in the Gender Studies program. I’m interested in all topics around feminism, sociology, gender questions, and inequality. My special interest here is queer people, which includes many things such as queer literature, queer culture, and queer people’s rights. Since I’m in Russia now, the question about queer people’s rights is the most relevant. I explore how queer people keep creating content, uniting, and supporting each other. I believe that in harsh and darkest times we have to talk about things that happen around us, I believe that the voices of ordinary people should be heard, and I try to provide them through my works.
