Samar is a senior Economics student at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). Samar has professional interests in sustainable development and climate justice. He has leveraged his leadership and activism at AUCA through his own projects and assistance to Sustainability Task Force. Samar has worked for youth empowerment and climate education with Central Asia Youth for Water Network (CAY4W) and the project of Bard College and OSUN “Worldwide Teach-ins for Climate Justice.” He is currently employed at UNDP Kyrgyzstan as Climate and Sustainable Energy intern. Samar has participated in various OSUN projects, including Community Action Award (CAA) summer internships, Student Mobility, Economic Democracy Initiative (EDI) workshop, and more. He is dedicated to civic activism and development practices.
