Joodi is a senior nursing student minoring in philosophy at the American University of Beirut. She is the CEO of a project called MedWork that increases the healthcare access of medically underprivileged individuals in Lebanon by connecting them to student-led free clinics at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, where they receive free consultations, follow-ups, diagnostic tests, and medications. She is especially interested in biomedical ethics and global public health. As such, she aims to advocate for improving the health literacy rate of her community members by engaging in awareness activities that unite individuals of different socioeconomic status
