Gabriel Traub (he/him) is in his senior year at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson. He is earning a B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Gabriel has experience working in three labs and is certified to conduct research with human subjects through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program). He is proficient in multiple programming languages and has acted as a Teaching Assistant for Statistics of Psychology. Gabriel is interested in both qualitative and quantitative psychology research, and his primary areas of interest surround queerness, eating disorders/behaviors, and the philosophy of psychiatry. He is currently working on his senior project, which examines the way that mental disorders are classified, stigmatized, and responded to, particularly in the case of paraphilic disorders. He is originally from San Francisco, though he now lives in upstate New York. In his free time, Gabe enjoys listening to music, reading, rock climbing, and spending time with his friends and family.
