Aaron Masuba

Masuba Aaron is a Senior student at BRAC University studying a BS in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is a social innovator, passionate engineer, educator, environmentalist, and climate activist. He works on technological innovations that empower communities for regenerative adaptation and advancement in climate change and sustainable practice contexts. He has won various prizes such as the IBM AI Spot Challenge, He is the Climate Smart Cities Challenge Finalist, and United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) SDG11 Sustainable Smart Cities and Communities best finalist under Digital Transformative Actions. He was formerly a Millennium Fellow at United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI and MCN), a former FXB Climate Innovations Advocate in New York, and a TEDx Speaker at the countdown on Climate Change BRACU. He has also been an avid contributor to sustainable engineering practices at the Engineering for One Planet (EOP) Initiative. Aaron is currently an OSUN Global Media Fellow representing BRAC University and simultaneously a student ambassador at Intel Corporation for oneAPI.
