Paul de Tournemire was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in NYC and rural France. He went to Bard High School in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, and is now concentrating on Science, Technology, and Society as he pursues a degree in Philosophy at Bard College. Being on the swim team has taught him to try to the best of his ability independent of his peers’ accomplishments. Paul is making the most of his college experience as he explores the topics and circles around him. He has always valued plants and their growth – working with Bard’s Office of Sustainability to implement compost in dormitories has connected him with agricultural and environmentally focused individuals. He is creative and persistent which allows him to develop multiple projects simultaneously. Paul enjoys practicing what he learns.
